About J Bloomrosen
J has been lucky enough to spend the last 4 plus decades working either onstage, behind the scenes or in the Sound or Lighting Booth. He's worked on shows as varied as running Sound on the original productions of "Driving Miss Daisy," and "Frankie and Johnny in the Clair de Lune," to going on the road with Todd Rundgren for his "A Wizard, A True Star" tour as a Photographer, and putting out 14 tour books, and being a part of Blotto, in the early 80s. He was also amazed to have Jimmy Page personally choose some of his pictures for use on his website.
He is now delving into his vast archives, of over 1,000 bands, most of the shots NEVER seen before, scanning his negatives, and making them available to the public for the first time. Please enjoy perusing has entire collection. There is way more than just his huge collection of rock stars. He's been around half the world, and photographed the people and places in most of his ports of call. Have fun looking. And shopping, of course!
